“We switched off and got punished” Stevie Moan Apr 23, 2018

Dungannon Swifts Away

It is always a tough task taking on Dungannon at Stangmore Park. We worked hard in the first half and played some good football. We upped our game in the second half and got off to a cracking start with O’Sullivan putting us 1-0 with a great finish. 5 minutes later we were 2-0 with Lorcan Forde getting on the scoresheet after good work from Alan O’Sullivan. We were 2-0 up in the second half and in a good position. We then switched off and let them back into the game. Like ourselves they scored two quickfire goals and it was 2-2. They were on the front foot after getting their two goals and got a third shortly after with dingo tapping in.  The same man got their fourth and the game finished 4-2. Overall, we played some good football and scored 2 good goals, but we switched off and got punished.

Carrick Rangers Preview

We now turn our attention towards this Saturdays game against Carrick. We are looking forward to this one. We have beat Carrick twice this season and drew once,  but we will take confidence from our most recent game against them which we won 2-1 with a good performance.  We also have the advantage of playing this game at the Q Radio Arena. This is our last game of the season, and we hope to round off this good season with a win and build for next season. We encourage everyone to come to this fixture as it is sure to be a great game
