Traynor returns to Milltown Dec 21, 2017

This Friday we take on league leaders Coleraine and it sees Aaron Traynor return to Milltown since his move. we caught up with him ahead of this clash and here is what he had to say;

“First and foremost, it’s Great to be going down to Milltown again. Great memories there last year and still a lot of friends down there. Last year was a great year for the club securing that much needed bounce back to the Irish premier league and to do it in style. Barry Gray was the manager at the time of my signing and we started slowly but few months later we started to hit form and then tippy took over and we maintained the good form and eventually ran out worthy winners in my opinion. It will be strange feeling going down and seeing the boys there from last year and playing against them, but this is what football is about.”

“Warrenpoint coming of the back of a great result last week and hearing reports they were unfortunate not to pick up the win. We know they can score goals and having played with Darren and Steven Murray before then I’m fully aware of the threat they possess. But all over the park they have quality. I watched the game were Warrenpoint beat Carrick a few weeks back and going by that Tippy has them playing attacking football and that day they were a joy to watch. It makes for a great game and one I am looking forward too. Playing for Coleraine I hope we take the 3 points but with regards to Warrenpoint I hope they have a successful campaign and wish them all the best this season. Great club and pleasure to play for.”
