‘Keith Hamilton Appointed Under 20 Manager’ Aug 21, 2017

Warrenpoint Town are excited to announce Keith Hamilton as under 20 development Manager for the upcoming season.

Chairman Connaire McGreevy said “We believe that Keith is the perfect man for the job.

“Keith has been an Irish FA Volunteer Match Monitor and has been involved within various other volunteer roles at the Irish FA over the years, so he knows the game and has vast amount of experience.

“We are currently going through a new era at Warrenpoint as we aim to go to higher levels and we are confident that Keith can help us achieve this.

“He knows what we are looking to do at the club and what direction we are looking to go.

“We are back in the Danske Bank Premiership and we believe that it is vital to look after the youth of today for us to stay here and build for the future.

“We have the perfect facilities at Milltown along with managers at all age groups to help our players improve and develop.

“We believe that we have exceptional young players within the u20s squad and these players have the potential to push on and fight for a place on the senior team.

“An example of this is 17-year-old Lorcan Forde who has recently got his chance for the seniors and has been performing well.

“We are a very young team and we have brought in many new young signings.

“We believe that Keith can help develop and guide our young players in the right direction for the benefit of the club and bridging the gap between the senior squad and the under 18 panel.
