‘A disappointing result but we are happy to regain our Premiership status’ Stevie Moan Apr 30, 2018

This was the last game of the campaign and didn’t mean much in terms of us being safe. However, we still wanted to win this game as it was our management teams first game since they were appointed full time. It was also Jordan Danes last game for the club as he is going travelling, it was a nice touch to make him captain for the game too. We did not start this game well at all, the first 20 minutes was a disaster. We went 3-0 down in the first half and it could have been more so it wasn’t good on our part. But we pressed and got a goal back before the break. We also could have had a pen or two in the first half as well, but never got them.  Half time we recouped and came out and pushed and pressed and did everything to get back into the game. We scored another goal and made it 3-2 and they were on the ropes, but we just couldn’t get that equaliser. Overall, a disappointing end to the season with the result but we are happy to regain our Premiership status which is great news for the club and everyone involved.
